Sigmund Bloom: B+

Newton would have been a defensible pick, but Peterson is also reasonable under a BPA theory and he’s a good haul for staying home at #3. Bills are probably banking on Miller being there. Rudolph would fill an obvious need and he is a safe pick. I don’t think Nevis is a good fit in Buffalo’s 3-4 and consider that a shanked pick, would have preferred Jarvis Jenkins or Chris Carter among others. Reid is a Mayock favorite and good late third, might plug the hole at RT sooner than later. Romeus is a great upside pass rush pick who could be this year’s Greg Hardy. I do like the late picks of Yates (Gailey can do good things with this gutsy competitor), Kerley (bye bye Roscoe Parrish in 2012), and Stingily (a developmental OT who reminds me of Demetrius Bell, who the Bills have turned into a decent player). Overall, a solid class, only one questionable pick, and a great third day.
