Sigmund Bloom: A

The price to move up from 18 to 2 was blue light special levels and the Bolts did have an extra second and third. Von Miller is a special pass rusher and he would push 2009 first rounder Larry English to the bench – perhaps a concession that English is not going to make it? Carpenter is probably an instant starter at RT, and Moore could be at WR if the team doesn’t bring back Malcom Floyd. Like both of those picks (although giving up a 2012 fourth to move up two spots for Carpenter seems ill-advised) and they help mask the loss of the extra picks in each round. Legree could be the Chargers first real centerfielder with range at safety for a while, just not sure he was worth giving up another 2012 4th because his ceiling is pretty low. I guess I’m getting a little nitpicky about the other trades because the first one was so ridiculously lopsided in SD’s favor.
