They drafted four starters possibly five. In the first round they drafted Corey Liuget out of Illinois. It’s a player they like a lot and will work really well in Spagnuolo’s system. In the 2nd round, they drafted Mikel LeShoure, RB out of Illinois. He’s a bigger back and not necessarily a compliment to Steven Jackson but will be able to spell him and not lose anything. A very intriguing pick that fills a need. 3rd round was OG John Moffit out of Wisconsin. The Rams need some interior linemen to help out the run game and should be a starter for this team. In the 4th they went Jeron Johnson, S, Boise St who’s a very underrated safety who should be another starter. In the 5th they went with Vincent Brown out of San Diego State. He should be a slot guy that could develop into a #2 receiver that is very similar to current WR Mark Clayton. The last two picks, D.J. Smith, OLB, Appalachian State, and Cory Grant, DT, TCU are borderline starters that could contribute to a rotation but should help out on special teams.
